Build & Train
This solution offers similar development speed, but without the ongoing costs associated with Build & Maintain. Build & Train ensures a quality product and provides the technical training and support to you and your team to own the ongoing maintenance of the product.
You'll be shown how to make minor amendments, how to respond to common helpdesk queries and the steps to work through potential bugs.
Unlike Build & Maintain which offers free development, Build & Train's development is paid at a flat monthly fee depending on the time you want allocated to its development - the more time, the quicker the development.
What to expect
Free Discovery
1 - 6 weeks
Development Phase
| UAT development
6 - 10 weeks
| Final development
4 - 6 weeks
Launch
1 week
The length of time the discovery phase lasts is dependent on both the clarity you have for your product (it's design, features and functionality) and how complex it is.
In this phase we work rapidly to create working wireframe versions of your product where you can see and interact with it to ensure we build exactly what you want. Once this is clear, we create a detailed Product Specification document that details your product from database architecture through to security and user interface. Once happy, you select a support package and we create the contract for you to sign.
Development fees:
-
30 hours per month - £1,500
-
60 hours per month - £2,750
-
90 hours per month - £3,750
-
120 hours per month - £4,500
-
150 hours per month - £5,000
Once the contracts have been signed, we're ready to build you product to the details of the Product Specification document at the money fee and resource allocation agreed in the contract. This staging version (referred to as the UAT version) of the build will be exactly how the production version will look feel and function. Even after launching, all new development and updates will be rolled out here for you and your team to test out before going to the production version.
Once you're happy that the UAT version is as described in the product specification, we replicate the whole app into the final live build and on a date agreed with you, we will launch your product!
While launching your product takes no time at all, in the few days leading up to launch, you may want key staff members to be trained.
